Welcome to National Agromet Centre

National Agromet Centre has been established in 1988 at PMD, Islamabad. Its primary responsibility is to monitor the impacts of varying climate on local agriculture. Starting with 11 observing stations, Agromet network has now been extended to all the important regions of Pakistan based on their importance in the context of agricultural production. Now there are over 40 Agromet stations including 05 Regional Agromet Centers. Above all, a Research wing has recently been established which is liaison with the national / international organizations in multiple projects.
