Regional Meteorological Center, Peshawar

Regional head office of the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) in Sindh. RMC, Karachi started its function soon after the partition of subcontinent and is controlling all Meteorological Observatories, Meteorological Watch office (MWO) and Meteorological offices (MO) located at various places of Sindh. It provides provincial/districts weather forecasts and warnings to general public and media.

About Us

This regional head office, established in 2003, initially consisted of only a few Meteorological Observations in the KPK Province. Over the years, it has significantly enhanced its weather forecasting capabilities, providing accurate and timely meteorological services to the region.
